Introduction: The Coronavirus SARS- CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic has overwhelmed the ability of health care systems all over the world. With the spread of the disease, countries have adopted different models to reorganize infrastructure and reallocate the resources to deal with the pandemic.

All the nonurgent hospital services have been postponed. But, trauma and emergency services continue to function according to the established protocols with few modifications. The ATLS®course teaches you how to assess a patient’s condition, resuscitate and stabilize him or her, and determine if his or her needs exceed a facility’s capacity. It also covers how to arrange for a patient’s inter-hospital transfer and assure that optimum care is provided throughout the process.

If you don’t treat trauma patients frequently, an ATLS® course provides an easy method to remember for the evaluation and treatment of a trauma victim. In our presentation our purpose is to discuss the immediate impact of COVID on your ATLS® course programming; to describe your strategies for dealing with the immediate impact; to examine modifications/strategies that have allowed the resumption of programming

Conclusions: To guarantee continuity of the ATLS® course, we think: that to start providing distance learning requires more than just doing a Skype or video recording; to have more pre-test papers at the right time; We need to change the way we perceive knowledge-building.

Introduction: For more than 20 years, following the changes that took place in Albania in 1992, we receive information from trauma patients in the media about the delivery of trauma services. Police records are worthy of a war balance report. Trauma is estimated to be the cause of death in 13.7% / of 100,000 people. Every two days three Albanian Citizens die because of Automobile Accidents…

Changes have already taken place, but the question arises, who cares about the trauma and its management? Formerly and now the state ... ok ... but? Is this enough? The Ministry of Health should have a “Trauma Committee” if yes… is it active? Already of three years at the heart of these medical emergency management networks has been the National Center of Medical Emergency (NCME).

The trauma service delivery is now evolving along the lines of a central and spoken model with a concentration of expertise and specialization in the center surrounded by smaller units that feed on the center. The study showed a 19% increase in the chances of survival since the introduction of these changes.

Another 1,600 trauma victims are alive today due to developments in the administration of trauma patients in England over the past six years. In this system or mode of organizing what is today the NCME or organizing the transport of traumatized from the scene to the University Hospital of Trauma... by medical staff who have done a substantial part of the PhTLS® course ... What is the educational status of personnel in other regions far from the Capital? ATLS® student courses in our country have been implemented by a few individuals… ASTES, by default rules, has acquired the right to organize ATLS® in Albania…

Introduction: Never before have we seen an infectious disease as devastating and pervasive as COVID-19. It was first found in residents of Wuhan, China, in December 2019, after which COVID-19 spread rapidly to every country on the globe. The first case in the Republic of Albania was reported in Tirana on March 8, 2020, when a patient and her child who had come from Florence, Italy tested positive. Its consequences were rapid, in patients with significant symptoms (especially respiratory dysfunction or failure) who needed in-hospital medical care. This immediate increase in demand put pressure on the already overburdened healthcare system worldwide [1], but our healthcare system was found almost unprepared for an event of this magnitude, moreover to ensure the normal care load health to patients regardless of COVID-19.

Purpose: to inform surgeons and not only on how to provide emergency surgery and trauma care during enduring times. To manage the urgent treatment of patients with traumatic and non-traumatic during the pandemic, this basic guide was drafted which recommended surgical emergency management actors based on the best evidence already identified by the Ministry of Health (according to WHO guidelines or relevant associations in regional and global ranking) The presentation illustrates the general principles for triage and assessment of patients with traumatic and non-traumatic surgical emergencies during COVID-19, indications for emergency surgery and pandemic control, and prevention of infection by medical personnel by providing a practical algorithm for emergency care providers period of Covid19 ...

Conclusions: The trauma emergency care measures we have provided can protect the medical staff involved in emergency care and ensure the timely timing of effective interventions during the outbreak of COVID-19. Surgeons will need to be on top during this pandemic terrible, manage the surgical patients, and maintain the same standards as those we follow in normal situations
